The grape harvest in the vineyards of La Mata-Torrevieja natural park is often the first of the summer in Spain – and the fruit is now maturing on the vines.
Despite the very dry start to the spring, farmers will be hoping that the late rain in May was enough to provide sufficient natural irrigation for this crop which has no other source of water.
