An emergency plan is being introduced ‘to improve the service’ at the beleaguered A&E department at Torrevieja hospital.
The hospital management announcement follows months of criticism over the long waits being suffered by people who arrive at the doors of ‘Urgencias’.
As part of the plan, a new ‘rapid consultation point’ is being introduced, where people do not have to wait.
