More than €800,000 is being stumped up for Torrevieja’s consumer scheme to encourage residents to buy in local shops – but participants will have to make two trips to the town centre commerce office to secure their vouchers.
Mayor Eduardo Dolón said they expect more than 400 stores to take part in the initiative.
