The opposition Partido Popular in Mijas has called on the town hall to take measures to keep wild boars from populated areas, after a resident in Rancho de la Luz told the PP that one of the animals had entered her home and badly injured her dog. The town hall says it is working with the Junta de Andalucía on measures such as non-armed hunters beating the area to drive the animals up into the sierra.
