A prisoner died in Granada’s provincial jail last Thursday after being attacked with scissors by another inmate. The victim suffered wounds to the back, chest and leg. Prison authorities at the facility in Albolote isolated the aggressor in line with protocol, and said the scissors had apparently been smuggled in.
