Spain’s largest federation of taxi drivers has called a national strike for next Wednesday, November 29. Fedetaxi says the action is a protest against the increasing numbers of private cars linked to companies such as Uber and Cabify which are on the roads. It claims their licences already exceed those set by law, and that they practice “intrusion, unfair competition and piracy.”
