Twenty-four families who had been living as squatters in the Costa Estrella urbanisation in Marbella – some of them for several years – were evicted last week. The town hall, which is providing aid to some of the families, including a temporary place to stay and 2,000 euros toward seeking a rental home, says Costa Estrella, previously owned by a bank, has been sold to a private party.
