A recently-released prisoner was re-arrested in Granada on Friday after a doctor at the Sante Fe health centre was subjected to death threats. Staff and union leaders staged a protest outside the building following the incident, demanding an end to verbal and physical aggressions against medical staff. Police described the suspect as a “known delinquent” who had just completed a sentence in Albolote prison.
