Human trafficking gang detained in Málaga

Clients were charged €25,000 per person for transport and false Spanish papers

Fourteen members of a gang believed to have been trafficking Iranians into the UK have been detained at Málaga airport. A 15th member, believed to be their leader, was detained at London Heathrow airport as he was attempting to flee to Brazil.

National Police say the gang used Spain as a transit country and provided their clients with fake Spanish documents to enable them to enter the UK
