Thieves attempted but failed to blast open cash machines at two Unicaja branches, in Ojén and in Guaro, in the early hours of Monday morning. In contrast to some other recent ATM blast robberies in the province, the thieves were reportedly trying to use acetylene gas to burst the machines, rather than explosive charges, but ran off when the bank alarms went off.
