The tax office (Agencia Tributaria) is to auction off the site of the old go-kart track by the Hipódromo Costa del Sol racetrack in Mijas later this month, due to old tax debts of the defunct municipal company Recursos Turísticos, which ran the Hipódoromo and owned the 13,980-square-metre plot up for sale. The site, part of which is classified as green space and part for public infrastructure, will have a starting price of €568,000.d
