Spain’s chief anti-corruption prosecutor resigned last Thursday following weeks of speculation about funds he was said to have invested in a central American tax haven. Manuel Moix cited “personal reasons” when he stepped down after it was confirmed that he holds a quarter share in a company based in Panama.
