‘A drunken driver’ who was zig-zagging along the N-332 in Torrevieja – crossing into the path of oncoming vehicles – is being investigated by the Guardia Civil.
According to the force, the motorist – a 49-year-old Belgian woman – drove ‘for more than four kilometres in this fashion’, eventually crashing into another vehicle.
Numerous calls were made to the emergency services to report the driver, explained a force spokesman.
