Saving the coast from campervans

Torrevieja town hall is taking action to prevent hundreds of motorhome owners parking their vehicles along the coast.

Councillor for beaches and the environment Antonio Vidal said the council was trying to find a solution to problems generated by the large numbers of vehicles which park in the area of the ‘Calas de Torrevieja’ – the zone of rocky coastline to the north of the town centre.

  1. Being a campervan owner we, frequently visit Torrevieja, and park in that area, as there does not seem to be any other places to park. we walk down into the town and walk along the coast. we also spend money in the restaurants/bars/shops, so if you wish, we can go else ware and spend our money. So get your thinking hat on, and make these places more parking friendly for everybody, and you may see an increase in revenue for the area.
