Procedures to contract out work to install a new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner have been started by Torrevieja hospital.
The work is required to convert a new room so that it can house one of the latest MRI scanners, which has already been acquired by the regional health department thanks to the national fund for investments in high-tech healthcare equipment (INVEAT).
