MIJAS town hall last week announced it is to create the biggest municipal park in the province, a sprawling 350,000-square-metre open space in the El Ahogadero zone on the outskirts of Las Lagunas.
The news came in the same week that Estepona town hall launched work for a large new park in the Cancelada zone.
