THE EUROPEAN Commission (EC) has said it is still considering the legality of the UK’s decision to restrict expats’ access to the Winter Fuel Payment, based on the average temperature in their country of residence.
David Burrage of the now defunct British Expats Association told CBNews that the EC had ‘finally responded’ to ‘many chase-up letters’ from them.
