Mijas town hall has carried out the necessary plot subdivision for the construction of a municipal retirement home, to be located behind the La Vega secondary school in Las Lagunas. The facility will have around 200 places, 80% of which will be subsidised by the Junta de Andalucía. Construction is expected to start late next year with a 15-month completion timeline.
