Marbella town hall has signed an agreement with western Costa del Sol’s public water company, Acosol, for the provision of recycled water for irrigation in the town’s parks and green zones. Currently Acosol provides treated wastewater mainly for golf course irrigation. Marbella town hall says the water use will be beneficial to the environment, while also reducing costs by 90%.
