Spanish telecoms giant Telefónica has reported a 9.6% increase in profits for the first three quarters of 2018 compared to the same period last year, despite a 14.7% drop in profits in Q3 due to the end of roaming charges in the EU. In all, for the first three quarters the company showed profits of €2.4 billion on revenues of €38.8 billion. Revenues were up 1.4% compared to the same period last year.
