Gibraltar officials last week presented a new polymer £100 banknote that is soon to be issued on the Rock. The note, featuring an image of Sir Joshua Hassan, who served four terms as Gibraltar’s chief minister, will be the first ever legal tender of £100 to be produced in polymer, which is smoother and more durable than traditional banknote paper.
