A man who stole some €2,000 worth of jewellery from his mother-in-law has been convicted and sentenced to 13 months in prison. The provincial court, hearing an appeal, has upheld the lower court’s ruling, which found that the man had stolen the jewellery, including rings, bracelets, a broach and other items, in 2011 during regular visits to his mother-in-law’s home in San Pedro Alcántara.
