Cristiano Ronaldo appeared in court in Madrid on Monday to deny four counts of tax evasion totalling €14.7 million between 2011 and 2014. The 32-year-old Portuguese soccer star allegedly used a corporate device to conceal his Spanish income from image rights. He is reported to have given testimony to the closed hearing and afterwards made no statement to the press.
