The Junta de Andalucía has extended the prohibition of fires and BBQs in forested areas to October 31. The ban also applies to land within 400 metres of such areas and to the burning of natural vegetation as well as agricultural and forest rubbish. High temperatures and lack of rainfall has left the countryside at greater risk from fire now, than at the start of the summer.
