The fibre optic network is now within reach of 90% of homes in Vélez-Málaga, Torre del Mar and Caleta de Vélez. New technologies councillor Ana Campos says other areas such as Benajarafe, Valle-Niza, Chilches, Almayate and Mezquitilla have around 50% coverage, and that remaining “black spots” will be covered. The network offers high speed internet downloads of up to 300 MBs.
