Security guards found two young Canadians inside the grounds of the US Embassy in Madrid shortly after midnight on Saturday, triggering a terror alert. The pair, who are on a cookery course in the city, were described as “completely drunk.” An investigation immediately opened to find out how the two men, aged 19 and 22, managed to avoid triggering any of the building’s security devices.
