Regional councillor for justice and the interior Gabriel Bravo presided a meeting of the Dolores emergency coordination command committee (Cecopal) on Tuesday.
She said around 100 emergency services staff are still working specifically in Dolores, San Fulgencio, Almoradí and Daya Vieja to pump away water ‘until normality is recovered’.
The force includes 45 specially-trained fire fighters who are working with two trucks to extract flood water.
