Málaga’s airport has Spain’s largest level of spending per passenger in duty free shops, according to new data from the World Duty Free Group. This is despite its 16.6 million passengers in 2016 making it only the fourth busiest airport in Spain. The complex’s commercial turnover last year, including car rental and catering, totalled around €300 million.
