As expected, the Camino del Rey cliff-side walkway at El Chorro was full to capacity – with a total of 1,100 people – when it reopened to the public last Friday following a three-week closure as management of the attraction was handed over to a private firm. The ticket sales website (caminitodelrey.info) sold over 20,000 tickets (€10 each) during its first five days in operation.
