Unions and viticulturists are up in arms over attacks carried out by French farmers on trucks carrying Spanish wine and tomatoes.
They have accused the French police of turning a blind eye and not preventing demonstrators from emptying hundreds of gallons of table wine from the tanks of the transporters.
Representatives of Spanish wine producers noted that their French counterparts had carried out their actions at the border between the two countries.
