OVER 1,200 pharmacy medicine prices were reduced on January 1, cutting the public bill for treatments by an estimated €88 million.
In addition, another 497 hospital medicine prices were lowered. Among the medicines that have been reduced are anti-inflammatories, cough mixtures, drugs for osteoarthritis, high cholesterol, glaucoma and high blood pressure.
