This was the assessment of mayor José Manuel Dolón over the opposition presented to the siting of a rubbish transfer plant in the Casa Grande business park in Torrevieja by his predecessor, Eduardo Dolón.
The Green party (Los Verdes) mayor reacted angrily to the press conference given by the ex-mayor, in which he stated that he was against the installation of a plant close to the town centre which would see hundreds of bin lorries arriving each day from around the Vega Baja.
