The section of the A-377 Manilva-Gaucín road, between the intersection with the AP-7 toll-road near Manilva and the junction with Casares, which was closed to traffic to allow major road-works, has reopened ahead of schedule. When work began in May the Junta de Andalucía said the stretch would be closed until July 7, but Junta delegate Francisco Fernández España announced last weekend that the road had reopened.
