Safe routes for children to walk to schools in Almoradí are being identified and marked out with a logo on pedestrian crossings.
Councillor Susana Miralles said their objective is a town with less pollution, noise and traffic jams caused by excessive vehicle use.
To do this ‘they are empowering pedestrians to take a healthy walk’.
