British homeowners who have been living without water in Cantoria will be connected to the mains after the council authorised the service this week.

The 19 houses in the El Fas district will have mains water after social services said the residents were “at risk of social exclusion” for lack of basic services.

Residents, many of them elderly, have been campaigning for years for basic services.
