A BRITON who stood trial for raping a Finnish woman in Benidorm in 1999 has been found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison.
The accused was transferred to Spain by UK authorities in May to undergo trial in Alicante. The hearing was held last week and the verdict was announced on Monday.
