Mayor Martin Morales signs controversial decree, giving local administration exclusive powers over mountain-side urbanisation

Turre council will take over the running of Cortijo Cabrera following a controversial move by the mayor, Costa Almería News can reveal.

Martin Morales, who heads a left-wing coalition administration formed by the PSOE and Somos Turre parties, signed a decree on Monday afternoon, giving the council exclusive control of the residential area in the Cabrera mountains, which is home to some 200 expat households.
