The first snowfall of the season in Alicante province arrived on Friday afternoon.
A Costa Blanca News reporter was able to capture the scene on video in the Guadalest Valley.
This week’s edition also carries photos of the summit of Aitana, Alicante’s highest peak (1,558 metres) on Saturday, where a fierce wind had stripped much of the snow from the summit and produced a wind-chill factor of around -10°C.
