Clampdown on illegal excursions
Nine local councils in the Marina Baja district have joined forces to clamp down on ‘manteros’ street vendors.
The town halls of Alfaz del Pi, Altea, Benidorm, Finestrat, La Nucía, Callosa d’en Sarrià, Polop, Relleu and Villajoyosa have drawn up a protocol to carry out inspections of businesses thought to be involved in the illegal excursions scam.
