FOLLOWING the asphalt being resurfaced between Jalon and Benissa, a clearly tired sign painter failed to look up and check his spelling. The small junction from Camí Montaña Llarga leading to the main road now proudly boasts the word SOTP, whilst sitting proudly beside the sign saying STOP. It has certainly given residents a giggle. The stop sign is commonly used in Spain, so there was really no excuse for the gaff, apart from to give drivers a laugh.
