THIEVES on Sunday night broke in to the ADANA dog rescue centre in the foothills of Estepona and stole a portable generator that the facility depends on as a back-up power source.

Staff and volunteers were “dismayed” when they discovered the theft of the generator and an extension cord on Monday morning, said ADANA president Mary Page.

She appealed to anyone who might have information helpful to the recovery of the generator to get in contact with the shelter (952 113 467) and the Estepona local police (952 808 040).
