TAX charged on the purchase of property will fall following new guidelines set by the regional government this week.
The Valencia government this week announced that it has reduced with immediate effect the way it works out transfer tax on properties.
The current system came into effect four years ago when the Partido Popular governed the region.
Hi I bought a 3 story town house in los Altos last October we paid the asking price that the seller’s & estate agent wanted , we got the key’s on 11th November 2015, the Lawer has told us this week that the house was under valued ( according to the Treasury ) by about 10.000 euro’s and is now claiming an extra 1000 euro’s in tax’s. Have you cum across of this extra tax re-valuation before and is it Legal.
