WORK got underway this week on a major upgrade to one of the main roads through Mijas Pueblo.
The €550,000 project, funded by the Diputación de Málaga, takes in a nearly half-kilometre stretch made up by calles Coín, Santana and Campos, which are all the same road with changes in name along the way. The work has a scheduled timeline of 100 days, or just over three months.
