Regional president Carles Puigdemont has confirmed that police have shot dead 22-year-old Moroccan Younes Abouyaaqoub – the driver of the van that killed 13 eople in Barcelona on Thursday – in Subirats (Barcelona) this afternoon (Monday). Police were tipped off by a local resident who recognised the terrorist who is claimed to have been wearing and explosive belt and shouted ‘Ala Akbar’ ( Ala is great) before he was gunned down.
