Infected eggs found in northern Spain

Experts say that the risk of poisoning by ingesting such eggs is 'highly unlikely'

A consignment of liquid egg, contaminated with the insecticide fipronil, was discovered in the northern province of Vizcaya at the end of last week. The 20-ton store was seized and destroyed by authorities to ensure there was no possibility that it could enter the food chain.
