GUARDIA Civil officers at Benidorm station have arrested two men charged with breaking into vehicles on at least 40 golf courses throughout the Costas.
The arrests so far have allowed them to solve numerous cases of theft from cars at courses in Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela, Jávea, Alicante and Málaga.
Investigators say they were mainly targeting vehicles owned by foreign residents at courses close to the AP-7 motorway, which always provided them with a quick exit route.

  1. Well done Garda Civil, it is a fact that the Brits spend 90% of the Benidorm income, and though we cause many of our own problems, there is a nasty little sub-culture of Spanish criminals who see us as an easy target, and there are many of us who felt the police turned a blind eye to these people, it’s good to see this is not the case.
