Just days after a Costa Blanca News reporter came across a dead dolphin in Guardamar del Segura last Thursday, on Sunday a live baby Risso’s dolphin was beached at La Mata in Torrevieja.
Beachgoers braved the cold water to take turns helping local police keep it afloat in the rough sea until regional government marine rescue experts arrived.
