The national geographic institute (IGN) has provided information about the earthquake which occurred this morning at 10.27, with the epicentre in the north east of Los Montesinos – on the northern shore of La Mata salt lake.
It measured 2.4 on the magnitude scale, they noted, and it was felt by numerous people in the area.
