MÁLAGA province posted the country’s biggest boost in hotel guest numbers in the month of April, according to data from the National Statistics Institute.
In absolute terms, Málaga was behind only Barcelona in mainland Spain for the total number of hotel guests and overnight stays, noted Costa tourism chiefs presenting the figures last week. In all, the province’s hotels hosted 428,596 guests during the month with a total of 1,574,699 overnight stays.
