Christmas Day elections for Spain?

The stalemate result of the June general elections – the second in six months – could end up seeing Spaniards going back to the poll stations… on Christmas Day!
Acting PM Mariano Rajoy has finaly set a date for the investiture debate: August 30.
However, this means in the most likely scenario that Sr Rajoy does not have sufficient support to be elected, a third general election would be called for December 25.

  1. If Rajoy resigned then they might get a worthwhile result. He is comparable to Britains Jeremy Corbyn. Definitely not good for Spanish politics as many Spanish people do not trust him and his corrupt pals.
